With words… to grab epiphany

With words before and
aft she stood before
the academy.
I did not know
her answers.
I still
don't
He'd waxed
the
surface
and
therefore
couldn't
stick
the ink
I'd
wonderer
if it
needs
words
in
the
corner

I stand before the academy,
transparent, shading into
the wood. The community
looked through me, sightless
I marshaled my thoughts,
afraid of thoughtlessness
Why would they
judge me ? How
would I know.
No time to edit
Stuck with the moment
I stood before
eternity as
vacant as a
dickie bird,
wondering why,
wondering why,
wondering why I
came. This is for
Jesus, cause He's
on my tongue. He's
in my eyes. The
days are short,
the monuments
so meaningless
and words
so often empty
Trivial, my attempts
to grab the moment,
To grab epiphany

I was not sagging
down the page
except when I looked
in the mirror
and then who looked back

I don't remember me
and all those fading days
